Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Many families face difficulties as their child goes through the changes of adolescence. My goal is to facilitate better communication within your family through this potentially complicated and difficult transition. I have more than a decade of experience working with children, teens, and young adults, both in school and home environments. Adolescents and young adults face unique challenges that require experience and care to navigate effectively, especially if a special needs diagnosis is part of the equation. I have spent the last few years working both in school and in homes with the families of children with special needs, ranging from very mild to severe. This has given me particular insight into fostering socialization skills and positive, meaningful interactions between my clients and their families and peers. Whether you are a young adult going through the transition into adulthood, a family that needs help communicating effectively, or you are navigating the challenges of having a child with special needs I am ready to join you in the process of improving yourself or your family.
